Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage, pixels, and advertising SDKs — may be used for the same purposes. This policy describes how Time Card Calculator uses these technologies across the site.

Current status. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to measure site usage. We do not use Google AdSense or other third-party advertising cookies. If we add advertising services in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Cookies and local storage may be used on all public pages, including:

• The main time card calculator
• Individual tools under /calculators
• Blog articles and listing pages
• About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, and this Cookie Policy

Calculator time entries are processed in your browser; see our Privacy Policy for how that differs from third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Strictly necessary. Required for basic site operation, security, and load balancing through our hosting provider. These generally do not require consent in many jurisdictions.

Functional (local storage). Optional preferences such as light/dark theme, or temporary form state on calculator pages, may be stored in your browser so settings persist between visits. This is not the same as sending your clock times to our servers.

Analytics. Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics help us understand how visitors use the site — which calculators or blog posts are viewed, approximate geography, device type, and referral source. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser. Vercel Web Analytics is designed for privacy-oriented, first-party measurement on our hosting platform and may not rely on the same cookie types as Google Analytics.

Advertising (not currently used). If we later display ads through Google AdSense or similar networks on any page (including the home calculator, calculator hub, or blog), those partners may set cookies to deliver ads, limit repeat ads, and measure performance. Personalized ads may use browsing activity per the partner's policies.

We load Google Analytics on this site. Google may collect or receive information from your browser or device, including cookies, device identifiers, and IP address, on pages you visit on our domain. Google's use of data is described in Google's Privacy Policy. We also use Vercel Web Analytics when the site is hosted on Vercel; see Vercel's analytics privacy documentation.

We do not load Google AdSense today. If we add advertising in the future, Google and other partners may use cookies for ad delivery and measurement. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.

Where required by law (for example, in the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), we may request consent before loading non-essential advertising cookies or certain analytics technologies. Essential calculator functionality does not depend on advertising cookies.

• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and site data
• Use private/incognito mode to limit persistent storage between sessions
• Opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
• Adjust ad preferences through Google Ad Settings or your device OS

Blocking all cookies or clearing site data may reset theme preferences and in-progress calculator fields stored locally. It does not delete data we never received from your time card entries.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT. We use analytics services as described above and will treat legally required opt-out mechanisms (such as Global Privacy Control where applicable) in line with applicable law.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add calculators, blog content, or implement analytics or advertising partners. Check the "Last updated" date above. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
