Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Overview
Time Card Calculator ("we," "us," or "our") operates timecardcalculator.one, a free website for work-hour and timesheet calculations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use any part of the site.
The site includes: the main time card calculator on the home page; specialized calculators listed on /calculators; educational articles on /blog; and informational pages such as About, Contact, Terms, and this policy. We do not require an account to use the calculators or read the blog.
Analytics and advertising today. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use Google AdSense or similar advertising services. Our hosting provider may still process standard server logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and delivery.
If we add advertising partners in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Information we collect
Time card and calculator data. Clock-in times, clock-out times, break minutes, pay period settings, hourly rates, and related figures you enter are processed in your browser to show totals, print views, PDF downloads, and CSV exports on the home calculator and on individual calculator pages (for example work hours, timesheet, overtime, and biweekly tools). We do not transmit your time entries to our servers for storage as part of the standard calculator workflow.
Local browser storage. Your browser may store preferences and in-progress form state locally (for example theme choice or fields you have filled in). This data stays on your device until you clear site data or uninstall the browser profile. Clearing site data may reset calculator fields and preferences.
Usage and technical data. Our hosting infrastructure processes basic delivery and security logs. Analytics providers (Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics) may collect device identifiers, IP address, browser type, pages viewed (including calculator and blog URLs), referral source, and approximate location derived from IP. If we later enable advertising (such as Google AdSense), those partners may collect similar data for ad delivery and measurement. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Communications. If you email us at support@timecardcalculator.one, we receive the content of your message and your email address so we can respond. Please do not send sensitive payroll or identity documents unless necessary for your request.
How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the calculators, blog, and website
- Respond to support requests, bug reports, and feedback
- Measure traffic, understand which tools and articles are used, and fix errors through analytics services
- Display and measure advertisements if we enable advertising partners in the future
- Comply with law and protect against abuse, fraud, or security issues
Third-party services
We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and content delivery. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Examples include:
- Hosting and infrastructure (e.g., Vercel) — in use
- Vercel Web Analytics — in use for privacy-oriented page-view measurement on our Vercel deployment
- Google Analytics — in use for traffic and page measurement
- Google AdSense — not in use; may be added in the future for ad delivery and measurement
Active analytics and advertising partners are listed on this page and in our Cookie Policy. Third-party links in blog articles (for example to government or vendor documentation) are governed by those sites' policies, not ours.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. That includes functional local storage (such as theme preferences), cookies used by our hosting and analytics providers (including Google Analytics), and Vercel Web Analytics as described in that policy. We do not load third-party advertising cookies today. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where required by law, a consent banner. Functional storage used for calculator preferences is separate from third-party advertising cookies.
Data retention
We do not retain time card or calculator entries on our servers through normal use. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics and Vercel policies and our operational needs, typically for a limited period unless a longer retention is required by law. If we enable advertising in the future, retention for those services will follow each provider's policies.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for reasonable business records.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, or to object to processing and request portability. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. EEA/UK users may have rights under GDPR.
To exercise these rights, contact support@timecardcalculator.one. We may need to verify your request before responding. Because routine calculator use does not store your time entries on our servers, we may not be able to retrieve calculator data you entered locally in your browser.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International users
If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data protection laws than your home country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features (such as new calculators or blog content), partners, or legal requirements. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be noted on the homepage or via a site notice where appropriate.
